Every two years, the students working in the Design Center of Ringling College of Art and Design are tasked with concepting and designing the new college recruitment catalog. In my senior year of college, I was given the opportunity to do this with three of my classmates.
Challenge
The recruitment catalog needed to authentically represent the college and the diverse student body, while appealing to prospective students interested in art and design.
My Role
I was tasked with designing and creating content for the last 40 pages of the book, focusing on the job opportunities that a Ringling College education could lead to. I created the layout and illustrations, and acquired images and testimonials from alumni.
Outcome
The result was a hardbound 250-page book, featuring student work, information about the college and Sarasota. I also had the opportunity to visit Zincografica, in Bologna, Italy to oversee the printing with my classmates and teacher.
